Performed by a massage therapist  trained in finding muscles that are overworking. A combination of manual techniques are used to lengthen and decompress areas of restriction to increase range of motion and provide relief. Pressure is firm but always within the client’s threshold of tolerance.

Sports massage can also fall in to this category with simply means the treatment is customized to the needs of specific athletes.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY(Testing)

CST is a gentle hands-on technique developed by osteopathic physician John Upledger. CST enhances the functioning of the craniosacral system which is made up of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protects the brain and spinal cord. Using a very soft touch restrictions in the craniosacral system are released improving the function of the central nervous system. CST can be provided as a full treatment or incorporated into any massage session.

ASHIATSU- Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy®

“Ashi” – foot “Atsu” – pressure. The roots of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy® came from the Philippines and India. Your provider performs a massage while standing on you supported by bars attached to the ceiling. Using gravity and bodyweight along with utilizing the broad surface of the foot, your provider is able to deliver a deep pressure massage that doesn’t get pokey like an elbow or thumb.
